Privacy Policy
Effective: 29 September 2026
Slone Enterprises LLC, doing business as RED BILLY IDEAS (“we”), runs redbillyideas.org. This page explains what we collect and what we do with it. We’ve kept it plain.
What we collect
When you email us or use the contact form on our homepage, we collect what you send:
- your name
- your email address
- your brand’s website
- what you’re interested in
- your monthly Meta ad spend, if you choose to share it
- anything else you write in the form or in an email
- whether you’d like occasional ideas from us (that box stays unticked unless you tick it)
When you send the form, our website also records the date and time, the page you sent it from, your IP address and your browser type. That helps us spot spam.
If you click “Allow” on our cookie banner, Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel also collect website data about your visit. See “Cookies and tracking” below.
How we use it
We use it to reply to you and to talk about working together. If you ask us to look at something, or you accept a free rebuilt ad, we work from your public ads in Meta’s Ad Library, your public website and anything you send us. If you ticked the box, we’ll send an occasional idea from RED BILLY IDEAS, and you can stop those any time.
If you allow cookies, we use website data to count visits, see which of our ads work and show our ads to people who’ve visited.
Where it’s kept
Form messages go to our Google Workspace inbox, and a copy is saved in our website’s admin area on our web host’s servers. We keep them for up to 24 months after our last message with you, then delete them, or sooner if you ask. Client project records are kept as long as the law or our agreement requires. If you ticked the box, we keep your name and email address for those ideas until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete what we hold about you at any time.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell the information you send us, and we don’t share it for anyone’s advertising. Our email runs on Google Workspace, so Google stores our messages. If you hire us, the people working on your project (including vetted freelancers) see only what they need for that job.
Website data is different. If you click “Allow”, Google and Meta receive the data described under “Cookies and tracking”, and Meta may use it under its own terms, including to decide which ads people see. Some state privacy laws call this “sharing” or “targeted advertising”. That’s why both tools stay off unless you say yes, and stay off whenever your browser sends Global Privacy Control.
Cookies and tracking
If you click “Allow” on our cookie banner, we use two outside tools on our homepage:
- Google Analytics, to count visits and see which pages people read. We’ve turned off Google signals and ad personalization.
- The Meta Pixel, to see which of our Facebook and Instagram ads bring people here, to count when our contact form is sent, and to show our ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who’ve visited (often called “retargeting”).
These tools set cookies and receive things like the page you’re on, the site that sent you, your browser and device type, your IP address and a random ID. If you’re logged in to Facebook or Instagram, Meta may connect your visit to your account. When our form is sent, they’re told only that a form was sent. We never send them your name, email or anything you type. Google and Meta handle this data under their own terms and privacy policies.
If you click “No thanks”, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, neither tool loads. If you change your answer to “No thanks” later, both tools stop and we clear the cookies they left on our site. We remember your answer in your browser so we don’t keep asking. You can change it any time with Cookie choices at the bottom of our homepage. You can also limit ads based on your activity in the ad settings of your Facebook or Instagram account.
Links in our emails, messages, social media posts, comments and profiles may carry short tags (like “utm_source=facebook” or “utm_content=c07”). A tag tells us which message, post, comment or profile a visit came from. Because we keep a list of who we sent each message to, we may be able to tell that a business or person we wrote to visited our site. We use this to see which messages work and whether to follow up, and we keep that list for up to 24 months after our last message to them. Tags never contain your name or email address. Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel record them only if you click “Allow”. For security, the web host may keep standard server logs that record things like your IP address, browser type and the full link you visited (tags included). We don’t use these logs to work out which business or person visited. This site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers when a page loads.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as “No thanks”, even if you clicked “Allow” before. Browsers’ older “Do Not Track” setting has no agreed standard, so we don’t act on it; the cookie banner and GPC do that job.
Other companies on our pages
When you click through to Meta (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn, Upwork, Fiverr, Contra, TikTok or any other site, that company’s own privacy policy applies.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or to stop emailing you, by writing to hello@redbillyideas.org. We’ll do it promptly. Every marketing email we send tells you how to opt out (a link, or just reply), and we honor it the same business day.
To change your cookie choice, use Cookie choices at the bottom of our homepage.
Children
Our services are for businesses. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update it on this page and change the effective date at the top.
